As we launch this year’s United Way workplace campaign, I’d like to thank everyone for joining us once again to support this worthy cause.

Lynden has a long tradition of supporting United Way and its mission to help solve some of our community’s toughest challenges. This ongoing partnership reflects Lynden’s strong culture of giving back and the core values that guide us to connect with the people around us and support the communities where we all live, work, and play.

This year, United Way is aiming to “Open Doors,” in their effort to connect people to affordable healthcare options, ensure more children graduate from high school, and help build financially strong and stable families. Lynden’s Alaska-pledge drive will be open October 23 – October 31, with several ways to participate including text donations, payroll deductions and even the chance to win money and prizes through this year’s 50/50 raffle.

I not only invite you to join me in supporting this worthy cause, but I will also maximize your valuable contribution to this year’s United Way campaign by personally matching your donation, dollar-for-dollar. That means every dollar you donate to United Way will be doubled, amplifying our own collective impact as we work together to support our Alaska communities.
